Transcribed from mirrors of two circulating web scans — the 2008 scan (red evaluation watermark and all) that carries most of the pages, and a second, different printing (Akai document code S-EN1-960) whose scan restored a troubleshooting sheet the first one lacks — neither of them paper from this bench. Chapter XII, the schematic diagram, is absent from both scans; a separately sourced two-sheet scan of the schematic now fills that gap as its own section below, and an original manual is still wanted. Everything the two scans carry between them is transcribed here, section by section, cross-linked to the source page numbers.
